Daf Systems

DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) is an advanced technology that utilizes tiny air bubbles to effectively remove impurities and contaminants from water. These microbubbles attach themselves to particles, oils, and solids, causing them to rise to the surface, where they can be easily skimmed off for removal. Our DAF series, WEF-N and WEF-C models, are designed to deliver exceptional efficiency, with an expected abatement rate of up to 90%. These units can be utilized for various applications, including the separation of water and fats, oils, and grease (FOG), as well as the thickening of sludge. The composition of our DAF units includes essential components such as a drive head with a gearmotor, reactors vessel, effluent, and chemical mixing, an air production system for generating and pressurizing the microbubbles, a grease scraper for efficient removal of floating contaminants, and discharge systems for treated water and sludge. The operational philosophy of our DAF units, whether constructed with stainless steel vessels or concrete, follows the same principle. It involves several key steps, including coagulation and flocculation to promote the formation of larger particles, rapid mixing to ensure thorough agitation of the effluent and chemicals, slow mixing to gently encourage the formation of flocs, a flotation tank where fine air bubbles are introduced to facilitate the flotation process, skimming to remove the flocs that rise to the surface and form a layer of sludge, and the collection of clarified water from the bottom of the tank using an adjustable weir. With our robust construction and intelligent control systems, we guarantee consistent performance and trouble-free operation of our DAF units. We prioritize reliability and efficiency to ensure that our customers can rely on our technology for effective water treatment and contaminant removal.
