CBU_COMBINED PRE TREATMENT - UNIT

The WE-CBU compact unit is specifically designed for the pretreatment of industrial and municipal wastewater. It performs three essential operations: screening, grit removal, and grease removal from the effluent. The wastewater first passes through a screen, which effectively removes larger particles. Depending on the specific requirements, various types of screening equipment can be used, such as screw screens, drum screens, or step screens. Regardless of the screen type, the collected screenings are thoroughly washed and compacted before being discharged. After the screening process, the wastewater flows into a settling tank where grit sedimentation occurs. To enhance this process, a specially designed baffle is utilized to achieve a laminar flow and reduce temperature gaps. This ensures efficient settling of the grit particles. The settled grits are then collected by a horizontal bottom screw conveyor, which transports them to a collecting chamber. From there, an inclined screw conveyor removes the grit for further treatment or disposal. Additionally, if necessary, suspended particles like oil, grease, and other floating matter are effectively removed by a scum scraper and collected in a separate side tank. To further enhance the grease separation and settling process, the WE-CBU unit is equipped with an air blower system along the side of the settling tank. This system significantly improves the overall efficiency of the plant. In summary, the WE-CBU compact unit is a reliable and efficient solution for pretreating industrial and municipal wastewater. Its screening, grit removal, and grease removal capabilities, along with the innovative design features, ensure optimal performance and contribute to the overall efficiency of the wastewater treatment process.
